Tanihara wins shootout in Japan

08/29/2010 - Itoshima, Japan (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Hideto Tanihara closed with a six-under 66 Sunday to earn a one-stroke win at Vana H Cup KBC Augusta.

Tanihara finished at 22-under-par 266. The victory was his ninth on the Japan Golf Tour, but his first since May 2008.

With the win, Tanihara moved to 10th on the Japan Golf Tour's money list.

Mitsuhiro Tateyama fired an eight-under 64 to finish one stroke back at minus-21 at Keya Golf Club. S.K. Ho and Jay Choi carded matching 68s to share third place at 20-under-par 268.

Third-round leader Kunihiro Kamii managed a two-under 70 in the final round. That left him alone in fifth place at minus-19.
